Contracts

A contract is an agreement between two or more parties. Contracts can be oral or written. Oral contracts are enforceable for shorter time frames than written contracts. Contracts for debts have their own rules too, often regulated by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Business contracts include, but are not limited to, sale of goods, non-compete, leases, purchases, non-disclosure, plaintiff-consumer disputes, and employment.   Without guidance, your business risks a breach of contract. These can be costly in court fees, legal fees, and damages.

Civil Litigation

Civil litigation is a vast area of practice. In Arizona, cases are handled in small claims, justice court, and superior court. The amount in dispute controls the location of the litigation. We prefer to seek resolution when possible. As a result, we will discuss collections, demand letters, and enforcement options prior to litigation. When no resolution is possible, our firm assists with all aspects from filing to settlements to full out trial defense.
